ArizonaNativeNet represents a unique collaborative effort headed by the Native Nations Institute and the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program, two internationally recognized academic program units of the University of Arizona. NNI and IPLP have earned world-class reputations for excellence and quality in developing and administering innovative outreach, applied research, service and training programs developed to the higher educational needs of Native American communities. ArizonaNativeNet is also coordinated and produced in collaboration with the Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office, within the Office of the Vice-President for Research.

The Native Nations Institute

Native Nations InstituteFounded in 2001 by the Morris K. Udall Foundation and The University of Arizona, the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management, and Policy (NNI) serves as a self-determination, self-governance, and development resource for Indigenous nations in the United States, Canada, and elsewhere. Its programs address the challenges of nation building through Leadership and Management Programs, Policy Analysis and Research projects, and Strategic and Organizational Development for Native nations and organizations. NNI is part of the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy, a research and outreach unit at the University of Arizona organized under the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. The Indigenous Peoples Law & Policy Program

Indigenous Peoples Law & Policy ProgramThe James E. Rogers College of Law Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program (IPLP) is a center for innovation in research, training, and advocacy in Indian law and international law of indigenous peoples. Through clinical studies and direct advocacy under the supervision of the world's most distinguished scholars in the field, students and practitioners provide legal and other forms of assistance to local and international indigenous communities. With a hands-on approach to education, this program aims to promote a deeper, critical, and global understanding of the challenges indigenous people encounter. The Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office

Native Peoples Technical Assistance OfficeThe Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office (NPTAO) provides a comprehensive program of university-based technical assistance in the areas of economic and community development, technology transfer, and educational opportunities for Native peoples, Arizona's Indian tribes, and tribal organizations. NPTAO, in consultation with tribal leaders and tribal representatives, serves as the conduit between Arizona's Native constituents through resource identification and utilization of the University of Arizona's vast and diverse cadre of university professional, academic, and research personnel.
