A Native Nation Building seminar conducted by the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management, and Policy, The University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, March 25-26, 2009

This comprehensive seminar, based on two decades of community-based research in Indian Country by the Native Nations Institute and the Harvard Project on American Indian Economic Development, is designed to equip up-and-coming leaders with the practical skills and knowledge they need to govern effectively on behalf of their people. At the 2009 seminar, current and former leaders of Native nations from across the United States and Canada shared their leadership experiences on a number of key governance topics.
