Native Nation Building: Emerging Leaders 2007On April 12, 2007, the Native Nation Institute held its first-ever "Emerging Leaders" seminar in Tucson, Arizona, developed specifically for newly elected leaders of Native nations. The half-day seminar, designed to equip up-and-coming leaders with the tools they need to hit the ground running and govern effectively, immediately followed NNI's two-day "Nation Building" seminar.
